During October 12-15 Grace Christian Church is excited to bring world wide ministers, Dr. Kevin and Leslie McNulty, Pastor Matt Beamer, and Rev. Elias Malki to encourage Christians of all faiths and demonstrate the power and love that God has for the whole world.
Join us at 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. & 7:00 p.m. on 10/12 and at 10:30 a.m. & 7:00 p.m. 10/13-10/15.  child care will be available for all services on Sunday and for the evening services Monday through Wednesday.
 
Secret Sister Ministry
Women of the church over age 18--We are resuming the Secret Sister Ministry.  Please fill out the form found on the table in the coat room behind the Kid Nation Info Booth and attach a picture of yourself and a self-addressed, stamped envelope.  If you do not have a picture, please see Marlene Cydejko to have your picture taken.  After the forms are prayed over, we will pick your Secret Sister for you to  pray for and encourage with cards, gifts, and notes. Please fill out the form and return to Marlene or Vita by October 26, 2008. Questions?

 JV LIFE (SUNDAY MORNINGS) Beginning Sunday September 14th, we will be having JV Amp services at 9:00 & 11 a.m. for students 6th - 8th grade.  Students are encouraged to come out on Wednesday as well.
 
CALLING ALL SCRAPBOOKERS!
Starting Thursday, Oct 9, from 5:30-9:00pm, you can come work on your scrapbooks in the Grace Cafe' every Thursday. Come when you can-part of the time or all. Bring your friends and come fellowship and learn together. Bring your own supplies and clean your own area before leaving. Have dinner, or a snack and beverages purchased from our wonderful Grace Cafe' before 8pm. ADULTS only please. NO CHILDCARE AVAILABLE

Candy Town  It's that time of year again to reach out to the community on Oct 31st, with Grace's Trick or Treat alternative....Candy Town!!!! We are in need of workers to help on that night. You can sign up to work one of the many fun booths that we will have.  We also need people to bring bags of wrapped candy so that we will have lots to give away.  Drop off your candy donations in the lobby and agree with us in prayer for an amazing Candy Town this year!
 
New Help Ministry: Stage Crew Team We are looking for those interested with set up and tear down of the stage area before, during, and after service on Sundays.  If you would like more information, please contact Lisa Jenkins at (586) 864-5590.
 
What is Care Givers? Care Givers is a ministry to the members of Grace Christian Church.  Our purpose is to provide meals for Grace families when the mother/wife who is the primary care-giver in the home is hospitalized or has a baby.  Registration cards for those in need of this service are available at the Info Booth.  If you would like to volunteer to help or have questions about the Care Givers ministry, please contact Sue Whitcomb at (586) 977-8944.

discovering Grace While our greeters and staff work hard to meet every visitor and new member, this event will assist you in getting to know the history and vision of Grace Christian Church and find out more about how to "Get Connected".  This event on Sunday afternoon is your introduction to Grace Christian Church.  Child Care for children ages 0-10 yrs. with reservation.  Mark your calendars and plan to attend on Sunday, Oct. 26th @ 4:00 p.m.
 
Christmas Tea Tickets on Sale Now! Please realize the importance in filling out your offering envelopes legibly and following some basic procedures.  This will ensure credit to the proper contributor's account.Call Sue Kelly in the church office, if you would like to receive a giving number to use on your envelopes rather than your name and address.

Share Your News!
On the first Sunday of each month we will set aside a section in the bulletin to announce birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, births, or any news you want to share. Pick up a Share Your News Announcement Form at the Info Table. You can also fill out an announcement form online .

Life Groups @ GCC

The Life Group Ministry at GCC is directed towards helping you get connected!  Our groups meet at various times and places throughout the week and include a variety of subjects. Experience the difference Life Groups can make by getting involved in one this week!  Stop by the Info Booth and pick up a Life Groups Directory. We have over 35 groups for you to choose from!

 

THE JOURNEY is a discipleship program designed to help believers grow in maturity, while establishing a solid foundation in bible knowledge, commitment to Christ and Christian service.

First Principles
This first step in The Journey, is based on Hebrews 6:1-2 and will incorporate other foundational topics from the Bible.  The six-week course is for everyone at Grace Christian Church.

Road to Service This course establishes the truth that God has a plan for each individual life and that everyone has been given Spiritual Gifts to accomplish that plan.  Learning How to Tap into God's Plan, Spiritual Gift Assessments, and Personality Profiles are all a part of Road to Service.  This six-week course is for everyone at Grace Christian Church.  ($9 cost for materials)

Road to Stability The Road to Stability is a course designed to build a strong foundation is essential Bible doctrine and Christian maturity.  This six-week study is for everyone at Grace Christian Church.

Sundays: 10:35-11:15 a.m., September 14-Oct 26
(Children will be admitted to Little People and Kid Nation at 10:30 a.m)

Tuesdays: 7:00-8:00 p.m., September 16-October 28
(No childcare will be available for the evening classes)

*There will be no classes the week of Oct 12 due to the "Impartation" services.

Whether you desire to speak French for tourism, or to more effectively minister the gospel, this Life Group is for you.  Come learn the language through conversation, song, and crafts all in a safe and friendly environment.

Day/Time: Fridays-6:00-7:30 p.m. (No meeting November 28th).

Child Care: No

Requirements: Open to ages 5 and up.  Children ages 5-12 must be accompanied by an adult.  $10 material fee to cover the cost of supplies.
